Classroom Procedures
There are many protocols and procedures we create, as a class, to make an enviroment that your child will feel safe to make mistakes and to learn from them.
Participation, Preparedness, and Posititivity are a MUST in this class.
Your child will be required not only to answer questions but also to explain and perhaps even defend their opinions.
Classroom Work
Your child's work is a reflection of them. All work must have their first and last name on it. Any papers without names will be discarded.
Your child will utilize Chromebooks. The Chromebooks are to be handled with care.
All of this is to prepare you child for college and even their career. Participating and putting your best work forward are critical for progression in life.
Homework Expectations
Your child will receive a black folder. This folder will be used daily. All questions or tasks must be completed. Credit will not be given to incomplete work nor is there extra credit. Many students have lost their Honor Roll because their homework was not completed or done at all.
The black folder will also hold any information our school provides. The back of the folder has many items they can use as a tool during homework time or even just practicing on their down time.
